“Yours” — My New Original Single Is Out Now

“Yours” is inspired by love if generally speaking. Touchy lyrics by my dear friend Michelle Kachin got stuck in my head, expressing the feeling of belonging. The whole connection between the music and lyrics was created to dive into the cinematic and light sounds. There is no action in “Yours” — it is a song of one state of mind, body and soul.

To create as much shades of this state I was working on my vocals with totally different approach. You can hear breathy light notes and phrases as well as full sound emotional high notes. The emotional eclipse is in the bridge and outro, where mixed belt gives the power to the words that are stating everything sang before.

As usually, I work on songs remotely, it stays to be a DIY project: home studio recording of my voice and back vocals and arrangement and mastering by Vitaly Dudnik in Ukraine. Hope that you enjoy listening to it as we try to make the quality to correspond to the music industry development.

This song was supposed to be a gift for my husband on his birthday, but he got to hear a very-very raw draft. And after two months of work it is ready, and I cannot keep it just for the two of us.
