Terms and Conditions

Please read these Terms and Conditions carefully before booking or participating in any vocal coaching services provided by Maria Dudnik ("the Coach"). By booking a session, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
1. Services Offered
Vocal coaching services include:
Online private vocal lessons
In-person private vocal lessons at the Coach’s home studio
In-person private vocal lessons at the student’s location (when agreed in advance)
Services may include vocal exercises, technical work, song interpretation, breathwork, body awareness, light physical movement, and discussion related to vocal development.
All services are educational in nature.
2. Eligibility & Consent
By booking a session, you confirm that:
You are 18 years of age or older, or
You are the parent or legal guardian of the participant and consent to these Terms on their behalf.
3. Booking Types
The following booking options are available:
Trial Lesson (one-time introductory session)
Single Lesson (drop-in)
Monthly Package of 4 lessons
Details, pricing, and lesson duration are specified at the time of booking.
4. Scheduling & Availability
Clients are responsible for booking their own sessions.
Availability varies and lessons must be booked in advance.
Monthly packages consist of 4 lessons with an expiry period of 45 days from the date of purchase, unless otherwise specified in writing.
Any unused lessons after the expiry date will expire and be forfeited.
5. Cancellation, Rescheduling & No-Shows
Cancellation & Rescheduling
A minimum of 24 hours’ notice is required to cancel or reschedule any session.
Sessions canceled or rescheduled with less than 24 hours’ notice will be charged CAD 15$.
No-Shows & Late Arrivals
If you are more than 15 minutes late without notice, the session will be considered a no-show.
No-show sessions are charged CAD 15$ and are not rescheduled.
Late arrival does not extend the session duration.
6. Payments & Refunds
Payment is required in advance for all sessions and packages.
Trial lessons, single lessons, and monthly packages are non-refundable.
Monthly packages remain valid only for the agreed period.
Rates and offers are subject to change at any time.
7. Online Lessons – Technical Responsibility
For online sessions:
The client is responsible for having a stable internet connection, functioning camera/microphone, and a suitable learning environment.
Technical issues on the client’s side do not qualify for refunds or rescheduling.
If technical issues occur on the Coach’s side, reasonable efforts will be made to reschedule.
8. In-Person Lessons – Locations
Home Studio
In-person studio lessons take place in the Coach’s private residence.
Other household members may be present in the home; however, lessons are conducted in a private, uninterrupted space.
The privacy and confidentiality of each student are respected at all times.
Student’s Location
When lessons take place at the student’s location, the client is responsible for providing a safe, appropriate, and quiet environment.
The Coach reserves the right to refuse or discontinue a session if the environment is unsafe or unsuitable.
9. Health, Participation & Risk
Vocal coaching may involve physical activities such as breathing exercises, light movement, stretching, and body awareness.
Participation is voluntary and at the client’s own risk.
Clients are responsible for communicating any discomfort, pain, or limitations immediately.
You are encouraged to consult a medical or voice health professional if you have any concerns.
The services provided are not a substitute for medical, psychological, or therapeutic care.
10. Recording Policy
Students may record sessions only with the Coach’s prior consent.
Recordings are for personal practice use only and may not be shared, published, or distributed without written permission.
The Coach may request permission to record sessions for educational or professional purposes (e.g., teaching review). Recording will only occur with the student’s explicit consent.
11. Privacy & Confidentiality
All personal information and lesson content are treated as confidential.
No session content will be shared with third parties without consent, except when required by law.
12. Conduct & Termination
Clients are expected to behave respectfully.
Failure to comply with these Terms may result in termination of the current session and/or refusal of future services, without refund.
13. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law:
The Coach is not liable for injuries, losses, or damages arising from participation in lessons.
Participation is at the client’s own discretion and responsibility.
14. Changes to Terms
These Terms may be updated at any time. Continued booking or participation after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
15. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of Quebec, Canada.
